FORMULA TO CALCULATE BODY FAT: SLAUGHTER-LOHMAN FOR CHILDREN
The Slaughter-Lohman formula calculates the percentage of body fat from the taking of two skinfolds. This is based on an age range from 8 to 18 years old. You can see the guide for taking skinfold measures Here.
The equations are named after the authors of the original research study, where each formula was developed from the results obtained from the data of a diverse group of individuals who had a wide range of age, body structure, body composition and exercise habits, to which they were weighed underwater and taking skinfolds.

Slaughter-Lohman body fat formula for boys and girls
To calculate the percentage of body fat, take the skin folds (in millimeters) mentioned in the formula, with a skinfold caliper and perform the followings equations:
Boys: % Body Fat = 0.735 (Triceps skinfold + Calf skinfold) + 1.0
Girls: % Body Fat= 0.610 (Triceps skinfold + Calf skinfold) + 5.1
