# YUHASZ: FORMULA TO CALCULATE BODY FAT

The Yuhasz method is another formula for calculating percentage body fat that uses skinfold measurements as the basis for its calculations, using 6 measurement points. This was designed for high-performance athletes and extremely exercised individuals, while The Jackson-Pollock and Durning-Wormesley formulas were for moderately active individuals or the general population.  You can see the guide for taking skinfold measures Here.

## The 6 skinfold measurement points

• Tríceps
• Subescapular
• Abdominal
• Suprailiac
• Thigh
• Calf

• ### Yuhasz Body Fat Formula for Men

Percentage of Body Fat (%) = (0.1051 x sum of all skinfolds) + 2,585

• ### Yuhasz Body Fat Formula for Women

If the person for measurement is female, use the following formula.
